The Miss Isle School of Sip & Puff Sailing (MISSPS) is a unique sailing and training experience on the Isle of Wight. Charity was founded by multi award winning disabled sailor Natasha Lambert BEM.
The School Sip - Puff Artemis is now based in Cornwall with Mylor Sailability, which now gives the opportunity for the boat to be used everyday from Easter through to September. The boat is specifically for physically disabled individuals who want to go sailing but aren’t able to sail a conventional boat. All you need is good breath control to handle using the straw to sail your boat!
Whether you want to try sailing for the first time or develop your skills, we can help. The school teaches sip & puff sailing, where the sailor controls the boat by gentle sipping and puffing on a straw.
The school is currently only able to take people sailing who would not be able to sail without the use of a Sip & Puff system, please see our FAQ for more information.
Our vision is to provide affordable sailing tuition to young people with physical disabilities who would benefit from using the sip and puff method of sailing.
The Miss Isle School of Sip and Puff Sailing has been born out of the constant drive and desire to open sailing up to more people who wouldn't otherwise have access to it.
Natasha has had so much success in sailing, both from a personal and public point of view.
We aim to provide a sailing experience that meets the need of each individual that comes to the Miss Isle School.
If you think sailing might be for you and our sip and puff system could give you the chance to take to the water then we'd love to hear from you.
Please read through this website, and then if you want to come sailing with us simply complete the booking form and join us on the water.

We rely on donations to keep afloat - quite literally!
With your help we can help more young people experience the freedom of sailing for themselves using Sip & Puff controls.
You can become a regular donor or make a one-off donation. Perhaps you fancy becoming an active fundraiser, you want to jump off a mountain or swim the channel for us?
Great!
